01 Day: Arrival Delhi
Assistance and welcome on arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at Delhi, by our representative with driver and car, transfer to the reserved hotel, after check in. All documents related to the tour and services will be given to you. You may interact with our representative for your any query about the tour and services. Rest of the day for relaxation. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
02 Day: Delhi
After breakfast the sightseeing tour to explore the historic city visiting Old Delhi: (Shahajahanabad) the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone great monument, Jama Masjid, the renown and most fabulous mosque in India, both built by Mughal Great Emperor Shah Jahan, who built Taj Mahal, then Rajghat, memorial of Father of National: Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated, take cycle Rickshaw ride past through the bustling and colorful market of Chandani Chowk area. The sightseeing tour continues covering New Delhi, ( Lutyen's Delhi).visiting Rashtrapati Bhawan, ( President House) in the past imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial built in honour of the Indian soldiers sacrificed themselves, during the Afghan war; Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by India's richest industrial family - Birla, Humayun's Tomb, exemplar ofIndian and Persian structural monument, later visit lotus shaped Bhai's Temple and Qutub Minar, one of tallest tower in India, representation of victory, built by Mughal ruler Qutub-ud-din Aibek;
03 Day: Delhi - Mathura - Agra (210 kms: 4 hrs)
Today morning check out and drive to Agra, the city of world famous Taj Mahal. Enroute you may opt to stop over at Mathura- Vrindavan, Mathura is the birth place of Lord Krishna, to visit some of notable temples Bankey Bihari and ISKCON temple. Later continue to drive to Agra, on the way visit at 'Sikandra, a marvelous mausoleum of Mughal Emperor Akbar, spectacularly designed structure of Hindu and Muslim architecture, afterwards proceed to Agra. On arrival transfer to the hotel, after relaxation. Later start the tour of visiting the Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula, 35 kms from Agra, built by Empress Noorjehan daughter of Shahjahan, this monument a tribute to her great father. Later return to the hotel the hotel for overnight stay.
04 Day: Agra
Early morning visit world's most popular and beautiful monument: Taj Mahal with its' speculative view at the time of sunrise. Taj Mahal, beautiful architectural monument among the 7 wonders of the world; this historical masterpiece is illustration of the fusion of diverse architectural styles. Taj Mahal is crown of all the loveliest buildings in the world, a symbol of eternal love. The tour continues to visit Agra Fort, was built in 1576 AD., by great Mughal Emperor Akbar, structured and designed with red stoned barricaded; in the fort you will find most splendid Pearl Mosque and various other classic example of art: Jahangir Mahal, Macchhi Bhawan, Moti Masjid, Nagina Masjid, Diwan-e- Khas, Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-e-Khas, Meena Bazaar and Musamman Burj where from Emperor Shahjahan, prisoner of his son rebellious Aurangzeb, he put his father in the cell of Agra fort, the only show of its kind in India! Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
05 Day: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (240 kms 5 - 6 hrs)
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive pink city Jaipur. Enroute stop over at Fatehpur Sikri, the old deserted town of the Mughal kingdom, built in red sandstone in honour of Saint Salim Chisti who blessed birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important structure here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwane e Khas; Punch Mahal, the Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the Buland Darwaza, one of the largest and tallest gateways in the world. After sightseeing, drive to Jaipur. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later in the evening you can explore the bustling market of Jaipur by cycle rickshaw ride, which is paradise for shopping lovers, Jaipur is worldly famous for hand woven carpet, precious stones, handicraft, marble, textile, blue pottery, handmade papers, later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
06 Day: Jaipur
Today after breakfast explore the Pink City with an excursion to splendid Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, built in 15th Centaury by Rajpoot Ruler Man Singh, later visit another mighty and majestic Nahargarh fort, which is nearby to Amber fort. Later drive back to the main city to visit imperial 'City Palace', a miraculous places to witness the real Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Present residence of the royal family of Jaipur. Distinguishing Jantar Mantar innovated and constructed by Jaipur King Swai Jai Singh, he built 5 observatories, and Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is one of them. Visiting marvelous Hawa Mahal, also known 'Palace of Winds' built with a concept for the woman of royal families to speculate the royal ceremonies and festivals being hidden from the public eyes. City palace houses both the monuments. The afternoon is for relaxation. Drive back to hotel for night stay.
07 Day: Jaipur - Samode (Excursion) - Neemrana - Delhi (260 kms: 5 hrs)
After breakfast take an excursion to Samode, (45 kms: 1 hr) - the old caravan city of Samode locked up in its walls and dominated by the castle, on arrival after refreshment visit Samode Palace, the Sheesh Mahal- the hall of mirrors. You can take camel cart ride to explore the Samode Fort and the semi desert village of Samode, witness the culture and traditional of villagers. Return back to Jaipur and check out of the hotel and drive to Delhi. En route visit massive and splendid Neemrana Fort, recalling the old world charm of Rajasthani majesty and hospitality. One of the magnificent forts of Rajasthan converted into a heritage hotel, a wonderful architectural marvel. Here you can experience the adventure of India's first ZIP Tour and opt for lunch at the hotel. (Of your own) Later continue to drive to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
08 Day: Delhi - Aurangabad
Today morning check out the hotel after breakfast and transfer to domestic airport to board the morning flight for Aurangabad. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Aurangabad is popularly known for ancient temples of India. There around 34 Buddhist caves and around 17 Hindus. After relaxation take a city tour of Aurangabad: visiting Daulatabad Fort. Originally the mountainous Deogiri fortress, it was an old Hindu stronghold, finally detained and pillaged by deceit during 13th century. Later visit Bibi ka Maqbara; tomb of Begum Rabia Durani, queen of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Due to its resembling Taj, this is called Taj Mahal of Deccan. Followed by visit at Panchakki, an intriguing water mill, popular underground water channel which pass through more than 8 kms to its source away in the mountains. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
09 Day: Aurangabad - Ajanta - Aurangabad (105 kms: 2 hrs one way)
After your breakfast at the hotel, take an excursion with a drive to explore most popular ancient Ajanta caves. One of the rare, ancient architectural marvels with historical past of India. Recognized as the World Heritage Site today, these were discovering eventually when a group of British officers were on a hunt in that area. The Ajanta caves are located deep within the Sahyadri hills of Maharashtra; the Ajanta caves portray the history of Buddhism, during 200 BC - 650 AD. Ajanta's wondrous cave temples are cut into the rocky sides of a spectacular crescent-shaped gorge, at the head of which is a waterfall that pours over the mountain rim in a series of seven steps to a pool far below -deep inside the mountain are the vihara prayer, Buddhist chaitya - and monastery caves. 10 Day: Aurangabad - Ellora
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Ellora, one of the highly visited World heritage sites of India. It houses 34 monasteries and temples with some exclusive uninterrupted sequence of monuments that date back from 600 to 1000 AD. The temples of Ellora are dedicated to Brahmanism, Jainism, and Buddhism. A particular interest are the architectural phenomenon of the gigantic Kailasa Temple, the Buddhist Vishvakarma Chaitya and Vihara, the 32 famous Jain caves are quite popular for a glorious Yakshi statue and expectation paintings on ceiling. It also has some of the brilliant stone carving depicting the mythology related to God Shiva. After visit return to the Aurangabad. Later check out of the hotel and drive to the airport to board the flight for Mumbai. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
11 Day: Mumbai
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Mumbai by visiting Gateway of India firstly and from here cruise to Elephanta Caves by motorboat. The hundred steps take you on the top where it is located. The caves houses pillars which are huge and seem to hold the ceiling, and have crossbeams. The picturesque presentations of the 9 marvellous sculptured panels, set on the walls are awe-inspiring. The famous amongst the panels is the triple-headed Shiva or the Trimurthi, where the God is depicted as the destroyer, the preserver and the creator. By noon, cruise back to Gateway of India, one can have lunch (of your own) at the Taj Hotel or other several good Restaurants like Leopold & Mondegar serving continental cuisines. Later visit Prince of Wales Museum, Jehangir Art Gallery, Victoria Terminus, an outstanding example of Victorian Gothic Revival architecture in India, blended with themes deriving from Indian traditional architecture, Marine Drive, one of the most scenic stretches amid the concrete jungle of Mumbai.Also visit Mani Bhavan, a Gandhi Museum that houses many of his personal items and houses the same room that was used by Gandhi during his stay in Mani Bhavan, and the later visit Hanging Garden.Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
12 Day: Mumbai - Hometown
After breakfast, morning is free for leisure and shopping in the local markets. Later check out of the hotel and drive to the airport to board the flight for hometown. Tour concludes here with happy memories.
