More like a city inside, the fort was built to fulfil the military purpose which spreads on the banks of Yamuna enclosing a humongous area of 3 km radius. During the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan, the Agra Fort attained the elegance, lavishness, and royalty of a palace. The Fort also serves as a vantage point for distant views of the Taj Mahal, and it is said that Emperor Shah Jahan spent his days in exile watching the Taj from here. If time allows, visit colourful bazaars at night. In the evening went back to Delhi & Transfer to Delhi Airport to connect the flight to go back to the hometown from Agra to Himachal.
